As part of British Science Week (that runs for 10 days) Nottingham Central Library has a number of events on. On Saturday 21 March, 10 am to 1 pm there will be a bumper crop of exhibitions, workshops, talks and demonstrations. Highlights include 3D printing, Computer Science and Coding, Arduion, Raspberry Pi plus Science Busking and GameCity.
They’ve also got the spectacular Mad Science Show at 10.00 am and 11.30 am.

Whilst you’re there, why not discover more about Nottingham’s famous scientist and mathematician George Green? Born in 1793, the son of a miller, Green’s discoveries are still used today by engineers and scientists from around the world. 11.30 to 12.30 pm also a free event!
