What a fast-paced, busy and inspiring place BRW has been this half term! There is so much to share with you!
Thankfully we have the school blog to keep you updated and in the picture. Here at BRW we are all so proud of our blog and the way we can share our work with all of our families and friends. The children very much lead the way and are fully involved in all blogging and commenting. They are always extremely excited to share their learning and experiences with you. I encourage everyone to visit the blog as often as you can and leave comments, this makes it so real and purposeful and ensures the children have an audience.
Did you know that we have had over 66,220 hits so far from all over the globe? BRW has definitely gone global!
Highlights this term include: International Evening, Ten Ten Theatre Visitors, Year 2’s assembly, Years 3 and 4 Class Masses, NSPCC Number Day, Eco Water Assembly, and not forgetting BRW’s Got Talent 2017. We have such talented children of whom I am very proud!
A quick reminder that it is the Spring Raffle on Thursday 23rd February at 3:00pm. Thank you for all your generous donations so far. This is an appeal to ask you to please sell as many tickets as you can. All proceeds go towards school funds and we are hoping to revamp our outdoor areas with money raised this year. Thank you for your continued support, we are very grateful.
We look forward to celebrating World Book Day on Thursday March 2nd. Children are invited to come to school dressed as a book character or in their pyjamas ready to enjoy book themed activities throughout the day. A letter will be going out with more information on this after the half term break. There will be a range of exciting activities taking place during the day and we will be inviting parents and grandparents into school to share a book with the children in the afternoon.
I do hope that you have had a lovely, restful break and look forward to seeing you back in school on Monday.
