Class 3’s Service of the Word and Holy Communion

Today class 3’s  service was all about our topic this term journeys. God is always with us on our journeys.

We sang “Come let us go” to start our service and we listened to Lily-May read our scripture and we sang our psalm. Then Charlotte read our Gospel about the two men not noticing Jesus on their journey.

In our service we then gave out sheets to the parents and children. They had to write what they would need from God on their journey. We put these prayers in a backpack ready for our journey.

We then shared the Body of Christ with each other.

At the end we gave out symbols of how Jesus can guide us.

Our favorite parts were the singing and hearing the scripture from the Bible.
