This week the Foundation Stage Forest Schoolers have been creating creatures out of clay! They were inspired by the imagination glasses they discovered during their first session where they imagined they were different creatures when they wore the glasses and decided to create these creatures using clay in the forest this week.
They showed excellent strength in their hands and fingers as they manipulated the clay and thought carefully about what their creature looked like, talking about its shape, size and its features.
They added to their creations using materials found in the forest and discovered what happened if you added water to the clay – it went so slimy!
The children have shone during their Spring term Forest School sessions demonstrating confidence, resilience and resourcefulness. Well done to each and every one!
