Some of our lucky Year 4 and 5 children were given the very exciting opportunity to participate in a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with Art day this week! They visited The Girl’s High School along with nine other Nottingham schools to produce a ‘Living Lines’ animation made up of skeleton characters designed by all the teams of children.
Starting from pivot stencils, children decorated their skeletons before placing them in several freeze frame dance positions. They learned about human biology and scale drawing in what proved to be a fabulous fun and creative day.
