Foundation Stage had a wonderful time at East Midlands Aeropark yesterday exploring aircrafts of all shapes and sizes! The children were able to actually go inside some of the old aircrafts, sit in the cockpit and drive the plane and even got to spend time inside a real-life spy plane! They thought about how the planes were similar and different and drew some beautiful reflective pictures. We spent time watching the aeroplanes from East Midlands airport take off and land and thought about where in the world they might be going.
The children had a go at creating their own kites and paper planes to fly and enjoyed playing parachute games on the viewing mound together.
A huge thank you to all of the parents who came with us to help on the visit; we couldn’t have done it without you!
