It was lucky that the second half of the children in Foundation Stage visited the orchard today because Percy the Park-keeper was there and needed our help again!
His friend’s homes had been destroyed so we had to follow the trails and build new ones for them so Percy could get a good nights sleep.
All of the children showed resilience, resourcefulness and took on responsibility for this challenge and created some magnificent creations!
They spent time exploring the orchard and even shared in a camp fire with Percy and watched some popcorn being cooked (they also got to taste it!)
Thank you to the students of NTU who supported the children so well during our visit!
