A Castle for a Giant

The Year 2 classroom was a hive of activity today as the Rocket Group had a brilliant afternoon making castles. They were inspired by the story of Jack and the Beanstalk.

The children experimented with string to create drawbridges, rolled up card to make towers and some cutting and folding to make turrets. It was lovely to see the children inspiring each other and sharing top tips throughout.

Now we just need to paint and decorate them to finish them off.

The children really have embraced their new classroom life. They are taking it all in their stride and making us proud every single day. The smiles, fun and laughter are bringing so much joy to BRW!
