Today, we split into either an Anglo-Saxon or a British family living in the 5th century. We spent time discussing the arrival of the Anglo-Saxons on the East coast from the viewpoint of both sides. We wondered how it would have felt, what both sides must have faced and the challenges that lay ahead. As a group, the children elected a leader and then voted on their next course of action. After that, there was a turn of events and we voted again on what to do next!
