We enjoyed a lovely, reflective Service of Reconciliation this morning where we used silence, prayer and song to think about this time to prepare for His coming. We held stones to reflect on our sins and focused on ‘making the rough smooth’ for the future ahead.
We wrote our thoughts and anything we wanted to ask forgiveness for on paper which will be shredded and used as the straw in our manger this Advent.
As we recited in our poem this morning, ‘The Light is coming. Look up! Do not be afraid. It is on your path so that you won’t stumble. It is in your heart so that you will not fear. It is in your soul to give you hope. The Light is given to you and to all the world. Trust in the Light. Wait. Watch. It is here.’
