Beat Your Baseline

Year 1 have running the K a Day in order to try and win our competition! Beat Your Baseline is our K a Day competition. Mrs Cook has challenged all children in KS1 and KS2 to run a K a Day and improve their baseline scores taken at the beginning of the Spring Term. The class that improves their scores the most will win an extra special playtime with the playground equipment of their choice.
In order to complete the one kilometre, the children must run 8 laps of the KS2 playground. Running daily will help improve fitness levels, concentration, mood and wellbeing. It will also encourage us to be active.
So get outside and beat those baselines BRW! You have some very determined Year 1’s to beat!
