Earth Hour 2021

What is Earth Hour?

Hello everyone! Tomorrow (27th March) is a very exciting day indeed… it is Earth Hour! This is a day dedicated to connecting millions of people around the planet, in reducing our energy consumption and being kinder to our planet.

It’s a great way to connect with people and spend some quality time with you family, doing activities that don’t require electricity. So, at 8:30pm tomorrow, switch off the electricity and do some of the following activities.

How can we get involved?

  • Read a book with torches
  • Dinner in the dark – use some candles
  • Play board games using candles as your light source
  • Join virtually to one of the Earth Hour streams.
  • Movie night!
  • Camp in your garden
  • Night time photography
  • Write a letter to your future Eco Warrior self
  • Have a dance party
  • Yoga
  • Shadow puppets
  • Indoor scavenger hunt
  • Quizzes
  • Candle lit painting
  • Dancing or hold a silent disco
