Year 3 had a lovely afternoon in the woods today. We had a group lay a trail, which we called ‘Nettle Grove’ and the rest followed, cautiously! We discovered a Roman cloak and imagined why it might be there. The children came up with some great suggestions. Like the Romans, who created crowns of laurels to symbolise strength and power, we made our own crowns to show transformation in the woods.
