Forest Schools

Year 3 had a lovely afternoon in the woods today. We had a group lay a trail, which we called ‘Nettle Grove’ and the rest followed, cautiously! We discovered a Roman cloak and imagined why it might be there. The children came up with some great suggestions. Like the Romans, who created crowns of laurels to symbolise¬† strength and power, we made our own crowns to show transformation in the woods.
