Golf Challenge

Hello everyone!

It’s Mrs Cook here with your weekly PE challenge.

This week it is GOLF! Our friends at Notts School Games have challenged you to a game of golf this week.

Don’t worry if you don’t have any golf clubs. You can use a range of household objects to create your own. The suggested items are an umbrella, frying pan, racket, bat or why not try and make your own out of rolled up paper?

You can make your own course using cereal boxes, cans or shoes as your hole. Set up a course in your garden and challenge your family members to a round of golf. Make a score sheet and count how many shots each player has at their ball. The winner is the person with the lowest score at the end.

I’d love to see some of your homemade golf clubs and courses so send a photograph of yourself and your course to I will post entries received to the PE blog.

Happy golfing BRW!

Stay safe and active,

Mrs Cook

    • It really is!
You can be really creative and add numbered flags and different obstacles to get your ball through. I’d love to see a photographs if you give it a try.

  1. That would be a busy day in school, wouldn’t it Cassie! We may need your help with all of them 🙂
