Home Learning Diary

Hello Year 1!

I hope that you are all enjoying the much needed sunshine today. Make sure that you take a break from your home learning with a run around in your garden.

I have been thinking about how 2020 is going to be a year that most of us will never forget, especially us teachers. With that in mind, I thought that it would be nice to write a diary entry in our Busy Books to help us all remember these unusual times.

I would like all of you to write a few sentences about your day. Do this everyday. Include what you have been up to, any funny stories or anything that you would like to remember. Don’t forget to draw a picture to go with it. This will be a lovely thing for you to look back on in the years to come. It will also be a nice thing for us to share when we are reunited back at BRW.

  1. Hi All!
    Stay safe.
Today I was helping my parents cut the branches in the garden. We made dinner together. I’m playing with dad a lot. Dad helps me with my homework. In the evening we will watch the stars through the telescope.
    Greetings, Jan & Mum 🙂

  2. Hi Jan & Mum!
It is so nice to hear from you! I am really pleased to hear that you have been busy. Stargazing through a telescope sounds lovely! I hope that you saw lots of beautiful stars. I have also been spending lots of time in our garden. Yesterday we painted pictures and Noah got very messy!

  3. What a lovely thing to do Jan and Mum! A little bit of gardening in the glorious sunshine also sounds wonderful!

Keep updating us on all things you’ve been getting up to.

    Sending lot wishes,

    Miss Ferrara
