Much as we love Glapton Woods and Forest School, the children are often disappointed by the amount of litter that has been dropped by other people. They were worried that it looked horrible, the animals could be hurt and the trees could be damaged.
So…..we decided to do something about it. The children worked in teams and used litter pickers to collect four bags of cans, plastic bottles and crisp packets.
They also had time to play and explore and were delighted when a new friend joined our group. Can you spot him on top of the flask?
Well done everybody, you have made our world a better place.
