On the 11th of February it was Our Lady of Lourdes Feast day. It is especially important to us as this is the trust that we are in. We ended the day altogether with a calming, relaxing liturgy to address this special day. Certain Yr5s lead us through this special occasion.
We started our meaningful liturgy with the Parable of the Prodigal Son. In the scripture it taught us one of the sons listening to what he is instructed to do. This reminds us of when Mary appeared 18 times to St Bernadette in Lourdes and told her to do many things which include digging a hole for natural spring for healing, to build a church and told her to bring people there to Lourdes.
We take the message of doing what God tells us to do and spread the good news.
We give the mission to the rest of Yr5 to listen to our heavenly awaiting.
We as the prayer monitors really enjoyed planning and leading the liturgy.
We would like you to think about how you can listen to what God is calling you to do.
