Year 3 and Year 4 visited the Nottingham Contemporary this week to see their exhibitions ‘Playground of the Future’ It was unlike any art gallery we’d ever been to – we were allowed to play on it, design games with it and even decorate it!
We worked in teams to create a 3D model of a play area we’d like to build in the Old Market Square too. You can see from the photos how much fun we had!
Afterwards, we went to the Broadway cinema and watched ‘Prince of Egypt’. It gave a real sense of how Ancient Egypt might have looked like and we now have a deeper understanding of the Passover festival. Next history lesson, we plan to debate whether the film got it right, with the Enquiry Question Who did build the Pyramids?
