Whole School Science Challenge Number Five

I have a really simple, low resource but skillful challenge for you this week, from the Explorify Science website – What’s the longest paper strip you can make from one sheet of newspaper with no joins?

I can’t wait to hear how you get one with this one!

Exciting News everyone, some children have sent their pictures in, look at these!

  1. We got a paper from a newspaper report and we ripped a little bit out but left a bit and then we started folding it one way and the other and the bit we left we turned to do it again and kept on doing it over and over again and it actually became quite long.

    • Did you take a photo? Have you a tape measure to measure it? That sounds exactly right Lily – well done.
