Searching For Microhabitats At The Flowerpark

In Year 2, we know habitats can be big or small. Habitats are environments where animals, plants or insects can live. A creature’s habitat might be desert or it might be under a stone.

We went searching for microhabitats in the Clifton Flower Park and had great success. We found animals and insects living in the grass, in trees and flowers.

Year 2, what did you notice during this investigation? What did you find interesting? Was there anything that linked all the habitats together?

We really enjoyed our trip to the Flower Park and we even had some time to exercise too!
