Summerwood Community Gardens

Year 4 took part in a class visit to Summerwood Community Gardens in Clifton this week.

We had the chance to learn more about the Romans and the impact they had on gardening! We had a historian speak with us about life for Roman warriors and we even indulged in a Roman lunch – foraged and prepared with our own hands!

  1. I had great fun! We got to make our own pizzas. the part that I liked the most was when we were able to handle the artifacts and when we ate our pizzas!

  2. Wow! I nearly forgot that! So nearly at the end. I liked this! We got to see armour! We even did gardening, as in watering, exploring and EVEN making our own pizzas! Yum! This was a great time in Year 4. THE BEST!
