Our topic this term is on the Greatest Show on Earth. Already we have created pieces of art on slavery where we had to use paint or newspaper as our background and cut out black silhouettes that are linked with slavery. We have also written a setting description about New York City. Here is an example of a sentence from my piece of work, “The vivid, blue sky blankets over the city, illuminating the skyscrapers and building blocks below.”We will be learning more about P.T Barnum as well. We may also learn more about The Greatest Showman and its backstory from when P.T Barnum had made a difference with his career.

A setting description that a Year 6 pupil has wrote.
