Year 6 are all back together, and just in time for our visit to the Nottingham Trent University Clifton Campus!
We were kindly invited to spend a day finding out about life at university: what you can study, the societies you can join and how university prepares you for so many things in our adult lives! It made us realise how univeristy is open and available to anyone: there are so many different courses and so many different students from all over the world!
The day began with us getting to know our student ambassadors. After that, we had a brilliant tour of the campus, exploring the sports hall, the student village, the library and some onsite robotics! We ended the day by talking about transitions and new beginnings, especially as we are moving on to new places from September. We wrote some important advice to ourselves that will hopefully make its way to us via the post before September. It will serve as a pep talk for when we begin our learning in other schools and contexts!
Take a look at the below pictures, and if you have any questions about university, we are now all experts, so ask away in the comments!
