The children used all their senses in the woods today – listening to the wind and the birds; tasting blackberries, biscuits and squash; using their eyes to mark off things on their spotter sheets and then touching them to find out more and, finally, making woodland potion and smelling it (mainly grass, leaves and mud!).
They also found time to climb trees, explore, play hide and seek and reflect on their morning’s adventures.
