Wallpaper Art – William Morris

This week’s Year 6 blogger is Cole!

Our art lessons have been based on William Morris’ art style. His floral art work has inspired us to create our very own.

William Morris was a British textile designer, poet, novelist and a translator. He was born on the 24th March in Walthamstow and died on the 3rd October 1896 in Hammersmith, London. William Morris’ art work can be found in lots of museums such as The Victoria and Albert Museum.

  1. It’s nice to learn more about William Morris! I really like his art style, because on wallpapers it’s relaxing to see flowers on the walls of our houses. It’s like bringing the nature inside!
