  1. Hi year 3! I am Charlie Mc. (Year 6) and I am up for the challenge!

    If 12×8=96
    There would be 96 chairs.
    8 each 12 row.

  2. Hi year 3! I am Charlie Mc. (Year 6) and I am up for the challenge!

    If 12×8=96
There would be 96 chairs needed.
    8 each 12 row.

  3. I think the answer is 96 because 12 × 8 = 96. I also have an interesting fact for you Year 3 ! Did you know that the number 4 is the only number that has an equal value to how many letters it has. Let me explain… the number 4 is spelt f-o-u-r as you already know and it has 4 letters in the word whereas 6,for example, only has three letters in the word or 100 has 7 letters in the word not 100 letters !

  4. Now that is very hard. Would you have to multiply 8 by 12 to get an answer of 96. This is because 10 multiplied by 8 = 80 then 2 times 8 = 16 so then add 16 + 80 = 96. So now, you can use this method with higher numbers.
