Year 4 Word of the Week

In Year 4 we always love to learn new words and challenge ourselves to use them in our conversations and writing.

Which new words have you learnt this week?

This week, my new favourite word is…..


It’s an adjective and it means to have or show care towards something.

Try to use it in your own sentence. Here are some examples…

She was diligent and careful when completing her jobs.

You can also use it as an adverb i.e.

Diligently, he completed his homework.

  5. here`s mine. Miss Ferrara is very diligent about RE. Second one .Lacey-Mai was diligent when creating a power point about egiptian about mummification/death/coffin. style coffins. yet it was really discusting I mean really discusting. It nearly made me puke up.third one .I diligently look out for my brother and sister
