Year 6 think this is true. Every even number is divisible by two, and if you add TWO of these, they can still be shared into groups of two easily. Proof: 2 + 2 = 4
16 + 12 = 28
2758 + 5342 = 8100
I think this is sometimes because if you add
3 and 2 and you will get five and that’s an odd number also if I did 175,000 + 170,000= 349,000 which is an even number
Doubling a number results in an even number:
Always,an odd number leaves a remainer of 1 when divided by 2. This means that when two odd numbers are added together it results in an answer of 2 therefore when you add them together your answer will be an even number, when you add two even numbers you just have a multiple of two. An example of an odd number:
5(odd) multiplied by 2 is 10 because you end up with 2 remainders it is sort of like doing the below:↓
4+4=8 8+2(2=remainders)=10

I am going to answer the bottom right square! The answer is sometimes because for example 21+4+10=35 but 4+10+12=26!!
On the 1st one on the secand row is … WRONG becuse 3+3=6. and 6 is a even number and 5+5=10 is even !! What a brillant blog
