Year 6 Science

This week’s Year 6 Blogger – Logan!

We’ve been learning about electricity in Science, in particular, circuits! Circuits are where there is a cell: 2 batteries, wires, a bulb/propeller/buzzer and crocodile clips to make our resister light/buzz/and move.

Conductors and insulators

Conductors are materials that permit electrons to flow freely from particle to particle. Conductors allow for electricity to transfer through the wires.

Switches:

a switch is an electrical component that can disconnect or connect the path in an electrical circuit, interrupting the electric current or diverting it from one conductor to another.
